Well it has been since 2000 that I have seen one particular skill set in such demand. .NET is almost equivalent to the desire for Java 5 short years ago. The difference, and I hope it stays this way, is that .NET developers seem more reasonably priced as opposed to a consultant with 1 year of Java asking for 100.00 an hour.
